Hike to the Zöhreralm hut

The sun is shining; the air is fresh and crystal clear. I cheerfully walk with my partner through shady coniferous forests and across lush Alpine meadows, past grazing cows. On the Zöhreralm mountain hut at 1,334 metres above sea level, we have a fantastic panoramic view. Hannes, the hut keeper, warmly welcomes us. We treat ourselves to a cold beer and a Tyrolean snack with speck, Alpine cheese, and dark bread; then we continue up to lofty heights.
