Cycling is relaxing, fun, and good for your health. The wonderful panorama around Lake Achensee is always at your side. Here we have summarised some tour recommendations.

Route length: 19 km

Difficulty: easy

Starting from the Buchau car park (parking fees apply) in Maurach, ride along the lake until you arrive in Achenkirch.

Duration: 2 hr.

Route length: 13.7 km

Difficulty: intermediate

From the car park at the tollgate at the entrance to the Karwendel valleys, cycle through the Falzturntal valley towards Gramaialm hut. After about 300 metres of elevation gain, a wonderful panorama and a cosy stop invite you to take a break.

Route length: 17 km

Difficulty: intermediate

Start from the car park at Gasthof Waldhäusl: ride in the direction of Durrahof and along the Steinberger Ache. At the second junction, take a sharp left and continue via Tannegg to Durrahof. On the asphalt road, you can cycle back to the starting point.
